Still Life with Quinces in a Delft bowl — oil on Masonite by Adrian Card

Still Life with Quinces in a Delft Bowl. Oil on Masonite, 12 x 15 inches.

Singular commissions and small wonders that defy easy classification.

Not everything Adrian Card paints fits neatly into a category. Painted Easter eggs of extraordinary miniature detail, decorative boxes, small panels, and other objects of delight make up this collection. As one observer noted: 'Those fortunate to have seen his collection of painted Easter eggs — such exquisite, minuscule marvels of detail and design — know that he is the unrivaled master of his art.'

This section also includes singular commissions that defy easy classification — objects transformed by paint into something altogether unexpected.
